Annual Progress Report 2023

On 17 December 2024, the Call to Action, led by Germany, hosted a webinar for its partners to present the Call to Action’s Annual Report 2023.

The annual report draws on the self-reports of Call to Action partners and highlights the individual progress partners made. Furthermore, the report introduces collective outcomes achieved through cross-stakeholder collaboration within the Call to Action such as high-level events organized throughout 2023. Additionally, the report highlights key challenges and recommendations for achieving the Road Map outcomes—and thereby more effectively addressing GBV in humanitarian emergencies.

The annual report documents the impressive strides made by Call to Action partners towards better protection of women and girls from GBV in humanitarian emergencies through policies, programming, coordination, financing, data, and local capacity strengthening. It also underlines the Call to Action's continued relevance as an important multi-stakeholder platform to address GBV.

Following the presentation of the 2023 Annual Report, the webinar provided the space for discussion among partners on the report's findings and priority advocacy messages. It allows partners to use the annual report as a powerful advocacy tool whose messages Call to Action members can leverage to promote the protection from GBV more effectively and efficiently.
